New Macbook pro and David voice

I just purchased the 17 inch macbook pro and cannot get the David voice to show up in the speech preference list. The voice's license status says licensed. Please help

Which installer did you use to do your installation. You cannot use the 5.1 installers as they 32-bits only and the System Preferences pane is a 64-bit app. You need to download the Beta instead, which is marked 10.6.x on the downloads page.
