But the pitch isn't changing. BTW: Using the David voice.

Am I missing something obvious?

I think your issues come from incorrect SSML input syntax.
Our voices don't support a decimal numeral entry inside the "prosody pitch" tags.
For examples on which syntax formats our voices do accept to change the pitch and other attributes, please refer to this support page:
