prosody range???

Has anyone been able to make prosody range work with Allison or Diane? Here is an example:

<prosody pitch=".87"><prosody rate=".85">This is <prosody range="low">some text</prosody></prosody></prosody>

The first two words sound just fine, but the last two words sound like a female version of the Auto Pilot on the movie "Wall-E". Any suggestions? Without being able to modify the pitch range Allison and Diane sound like pubescent teenage boys with cracking voices.

Also, prosody contour does the same thing. Any idea why these two crucial tags would be malfunctioning on both Allison and Diane?

The voices themselves have nothing to do with SSML tags. The issue is within the engine. We will look into it, but cannot promise a quick fix at this time.
