Voices on weather demo

Hi,

There are voices on weather demo which are not available for sale. 'Stepahnie''s voice on the weather demo page has lesser noise/jarringness
compared to the other female voices.

Is there any plan to make them available for general use?

Thanks for asking about the relationship between weather voices and regular voices.

The weather voices sound great...because they are LIMITED DOMAIN voices. They are designed around specific weather related terms, as well as the NOAH data template.

In this deterministic environment, voices can be made to sound very good. The issue is, what you are asking for is a GENERAL DOMAIN synthesizer- in other words, a voice that can say anything. There is an inherent compromise for a well rounded general purpose voice vs. a tightly wound voice aimed at a single target.
